Julie is our Compliance Director. A certified and chartered accountant, Julie has an extensive experience in the profession, qualifying with a mid-tier firm before moving into an audit manager role with PwC. From here, she followed her passion for sharing knowledge by moving into the training and compliance support sector. She is a self -confessed regulatory standards geek but when that is combined with her enthusiasm for supporting others and love of continuous personal development, the result is the perfect blend of factual knowledge with practical tips.

Jez is our Training Director. A chartered accountant who qualified with KPMG before joining the training sector in 2000, Jez is a well-known speaker in the UK accounting circuit and served on the ICAEW Audit and Assurance Faculty Board between 2017 and 2023. He regularly presents for ICAEW and for other established training providers in the UK. Jez is also an experienced multimedia developer and designer, having created eLearning content for several Top Twenty firms.

Claire is a Compliance Consultant. A chartered accountant who qualified with PwC and worked for the firm as audit manager before moving into industry, Claire has over a decade of experience in internal audit, compliance and financial control for large international groups including Rolls Royce and SiG. Claire joined the Apex team in 2024 and works with Julie and Jez in delivering review and compliance services as well as facilitating workshops.
